Welcome to CompWood 2025!

We are pleased to announce that the ECCOMAS Thematic Conference on Computational Methods in Wood Mechanics – from Material Properties to Timber Structures (CompWood 2025) will take place on June 4-6, 2025 in Vienna, Austria on the premises of the TU Wien, within only a few minutes of walking distance to many of the city’s world-famous attractions.

The CompWood 2025 will continue a remarkable series of conferences which have repeatedly gathered the key players in the ever-changing and interdisciplinary field of computational methods in wood mechanics. It does not only promise to become an inspiring and stimulating scientific event, but will also allow for an unforgettable cultural experience in the beautiful city of Vienna.

We are very much looking forward to your participation in CompWood 2025 which is aimed at becoming another event combining very high scientific level with the unique CompWood community atmosphere.
